Here we are again! My annual birthday post (just two days belated…). Instead of looking back at the end of the calendar year at all that happened, I choose to do so on my birthday and reflect on my past year of life. So take a look at some memories from this year that have a special place in my heart for one reason or another…
Well first and foremost, a week after turning 23, WE GOT MARRIED!! See more here and here!Truly, every single day gets better and better being your wife, Alec….see more here!Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef!! The biggest, most colorful coral I have ever seen in all my scuba diving days. See more here!And of course our Bachelor worthy date (also one of the best days of my life) to Whitehaven Beach in Australia. A 5 mile stretch and we were the only ones on it!! See more here!We had just seen Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and were obsessing over baby Groot so I made this fiesta cake and sculpted a baby Groot cake topper for Alec’s 25th birthday in May! See more here!Getting to stay in this amazingly girly room at Madonna Inn was definitely on my bucket list! (Thanks for being a trooper, Alec lol) See more here!The year of 23 is really the year that I started blogging and I am still shocked at how many of you read my blog posts every single day. I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus but I want to keep the year of 24 going just as strong! On youtube too!Lil mama got her tonsils out about two months after we got married and….I just…have never in my life experienced pain like this. My doctor literally said that childbirth will be easier for me because of the intensity of pain that I went through during recovery.One of my best friends had a baby/ made me an “aunt”! Hi, Finn!I worked for Kylie Jenner Cosmetics for awhile and got to wear very trendy clothes every day. But we weren’t allowed to even have our phones in the building so pre-work outfit pics are all I can share lolI just liked this picture and so did Instagram lolI went to my first college football game post-college and felt really old once I realized everyone on the field was younger than me.I still don’t know what to call this costume…70’s disco chic??? Either way, it took me like two hours to curl my hair like that so….After 5 years of living in California, I feel like I finally explored LA a lot more this past year. This was at The Grove during Christmas time.We sent out our first Christmas card this year!! I wanted to do a funny card and start a fun tradition but this picture was just too cute….maybe next year….see more here!My other friend, Jayde, had a baby too and little Penelope really packed the baby fever on me! She is literally a little doll.This was my “Bye Bye Brunch” with some of my best friends before we moved. Some aren’t pictured but they were there in spirit in the form of mimosasMOVING DAY!! We officially moved one week ago today!! We have been in Washington for 5 days now and I feel like we have already done so much! I’ll be sharing a moving post in the next couple of days to share some more details!
