Me oh my, can I sure eat my way through Disneyland. Truly, half of the reason I go is for the food. The other half is split between rides and nostalgia (and being that weirdo who can’t stop saying “happy birthday princess” to the children that walk by with buttons). There are sooooo many things that I love to eat at Disneyland so I have compiled a list below of my all time favorites! Try as I might, I couldn’t even make a dent in the list during our last trip, partly because Festival of Holidays is going on until January 7th in California Adventure and they had 12 kiosks with different themed foods sooooo yeah, that had our tummies occupied! (Also check back tomorrow for more photos and a vlog from our day at Disney…it was the first time I had been back since I quit in February!) Okay now go “dig in” to my list:
DISNEYLAND:
- Cheddar Garlic Twist: Maurice’s Treats
- Boysen Apple Freeze: Maurice’s Treats (I get it without the boysenberry syrup)
- Cinnamon Crisps: Rancho Del Zocalo
- Fried Chicken: Plaza Inn
- Raspberry Macaron: Jolly Holiday
- Caramel Apple: Candy Palace
- Banyan Beef Skewer: Bengal Barbecue
- Caramel Apple Funnel Cake: Hungry Bear Restaurant
- Pommes Frites: Cafe Orleans
- Chicken and Rice Kid’s Meal: French Market Restaurant (lol I know….but it’s a full meal for like $7 so….)
- Grey Stuff Gateau: Red Rose Tavern
CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE + OTHERS
- Clam Chowder Bread Bowl: Pacific Wharf Cafe
- Vietnamese Twice-Cooked Beef Taco: Carthay Circle Lounge Menu
- Lobster Nachos: Cove Bar
- Mickey’s Fun Wheel: Cove Bar
- Banana Hot Fudge Sundae: Ghiradelli Soda Fountain
- Portobello Mushroom Bisque “Cappuccino”: Napa Rose (I don’t even like mushrooms and I love this)
- Beignets: Jazz Kitchen Express (WAY better than the ones in New Orleans Square)
- Bananas Foster : Jazz Kitchen
- Ahi Poke: Trader Sam’s Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel
