YES, love that video. I miss making videos like that…like my old school Disneyland vids.
Last weekend Alec and I went to Universal Studios Hollywood with my cousin/ best friend/ twin, Hannah, who was visiting from Sacramento! It was her first time EVER and it was Alec’s first time going since they opened up the Wizarding World of Harry Potter which obviously I love because 1. Endless photo-ops and 2. Butterbeer.
Besides taking photos in HP World, my favorite thing at Universal is definitely the Backstage Studio Tour. I have always been so fascinated by the film industry despite the fact that I have lived in the heart of it for 5 years and haven’t dipped my toes in. So every single time I go on the tour, I love seeing all the backstage sets where real life movies and TV shows are filmed. I’m such a tourist lol.
Universal is great because you can easily do it in a day and tickets are cheaper than Disneyland but Disneyland still has the upper hand for me (duh). They are actually really different and target different demographics and have different types of rides and Universal doesn’t have all that many options for food unlike the Wonderful World of Dine-sney. BUT, it’s definitely worth going to here and there especially if you love Harry Potter because it really is pretty cool and people are really into it (cough cough, see our $50 wands).
