Happy Newlywed Wednesday!! I am so excited to be sharing a travel vlog with you all this week that involved TWO newlywed couples!! Double-Whammy! Okay…I take it back…Sean and Melissa have been married for four years and are expecting their first baby (EEEEEP) (which you would hardly even know from the pics because Melissa is one fit mama) but they are still under five years so we are going to call it good for the sake of this New to Newlywed post!
As you may or may not know, I am from Washington and I am obsessed with it and love everything about it (yes, even the rain!!) so Alec and I go visit every chance we get and this time we got to bring two of our very best friends with us who had never been to Washington (pretty sure they fell in love too…I’m slowly getting everyone to follow me back home…muahaha)! My dad just got jet skis this summer which obviously the boys (and us girls) had a ton of fun on! I finally got back on the wakeboard (with no trouble, thank you very much) and Alec wakeboarded for the first time!!! Melissa took a solid slip into the bay via swan as seen above and we had a blast showing them around the city of Seattle and the beautiful Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island. We ate a ton (homemade pizzas and giant heavenly pancakes) and drank a ton (fresh-pressed apple juice, of course) and are already planning our next trip to Washington! Until then, we will look forward to our next couples vacation together in just 10 days and keep rewatching that killer vlog (and so should you)! xo
