Only four days until Fall officially begins and I don’t have to have a tinge of guilt lighting my cinnamon scented candle and filling my pantry with cans of pumpkin puree!
However, since Southern California is a very confused little part of the country and doesn’t believe in Fall or Winter or any temperature under about 60 degrees, “dressing for Fall” can become slightly more challenging! Even some of the outfits above would be much too hot for me to wear (cough cough fur coat). But I wanted to share a few Fall inspo pics of looks that I am loving this season!! I’m trying to mix some more fun and patterned pieces into my wardrobe a la the first outfit with the rhinestone top and ruffle skirt. I also loooooove Fall colors like maroon and forest green and mustard yellow and I love a good turtleneck so look #2 was like the epitome of Fall for me.
I’m so bummed that H&M didn’t have that pink denim jacket on their site yet because it is sooo cute and it’s stretchy and not too thick which is perfect for the Fall weather down here because if I get too hot and start to sweat and I’m wearing a tight jacket I will start to panic and it’s just bad news bears. Lastly, I just had to with that fur coat I mean c’mon… it is so chic and I would be so Blair Waldorf-y if I were wearing it in New York! However, I may need to put it away for awhile until the weather drops below 74 -_-
