We had such a fun time at the OC Fair this weekend! It was the last weekend of the fair so we just barely made it in time! But we haven’t missed a year in five years so we couldn’t break the tradition….plus, every year we have taken a photo together at the photo booth and it is SO fun to look back on and see how much we have changed over the past five years! I love love love photo booths (hence why we had to have one at our wedding) and when I lived by myself, I had a huge board that I kept all my polaroids and photo booth strips on. I had to box them up for now since it just didn’t go with the *aesthetic* of our new place together (also, check back on Wednesday for New to Newlywed to see a tour of our cute little apartment and my decorating tips for apartments!!). Besides the photo booth, every year we try to watch the little pig races, go see the giant cow, and eat a footlong hot dog from Juicy’s (every year I think I won’t finish it and every year I do. Champion.)
We had such a fantastic weekend that ended with our best friend’s gender reveal party and I was so so so honored that they asked me to make the cake!!! They gave me the envelope from their midwife two days beforehand and omg it was the longest 48 hours ever to keep it a secret!! They both thought it was going to be a girl but NOPE, it is a boy (which is what they both wanted) so it was soooo stinking fun being able to surprise them!
