Shoes: NORDSTROM $40 (here) (I know I already shared these and they aren’t CRAZY cheap, but I have seriously been wearing them every day and they’re so comfy and they WERE $90 so that’s a good deal to me!)

Romper: 1.STATE (similar here) // Necklace: NORDSTROM $11 (here) (I got this romper from Nordstrom Rack for $19 and ended up wearing it for my engagement photos!!)

Shirt: H by Bordeaux $16 (here) (ok this is a silly snapchat from the day after we got engaged but it’s the only picture I have in this cozy shirt and it was originally $88 (FOR A T SHIRT) and I got it from N.Rack for such a great deal)

So I am a firm believer that there are certain pieces in a wardrobe that are staple items, that you will use and wear for years, and they are worth a certain amount of money that normally wouldn’t be spent on just anything. And I have certainly built up a little army of staple pieces (i.e. I could hardly find any items on my Cabo post to share that hadn’t been sold out for years). But ya girl loves a good deal as well! I love finding a brand that I love with a significant discount but sometimes it’s not even a brand I know. I have found lots of things on rando websites or even Amazon for CHEAP. So I wanted to share some of these with you all so you too can enjoy $14 dresses with your $100 earrings, lol. (I am wearing said earrings in every photo above that shows my ears hahah #staple)

My favorite places to shop for discounts are Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx….of course these places are hit or miss and sometimes it’s hard to find things for the right season (like, they put the old winter stuff out once we hit spring…) but I like to shop for basics, accessories, and ahem, undergarments there! They also sometimes have really cute purses, even designer ones!

Also, I never ever buy something online without checking first for a discount code on another website! I usually also look on Amazon to see if they have what I’m looking for because you never know….they have name brand stuff on there too!

Lastly, I love shops that have easy returns like Nordstrom, Amazon, and Revolve because even if you are shopping good deals, a dollar is a dollar and $14 spent on a dress is $14 that can be spent on a different dress that you LOVE…or on food…
